GRACE

Get help from an anxiety & OCD therapist who truly understands neurodiversity and the queer experience.

Hi, I’m Grace.

I work with clients who want to feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life with anxiety and OCD, while being true to themselves.

Through my years of working with clients, I’ve noticed they often carry the weight of anxiety or OCD while also navigating the complexities of neurodivergence or just feeling different. They are resilient, but often exhausted from trying to manage life, relationships, and their own minds while feeling misunderstood by the world.

I want to help you discover, or rediscover, your strengths and who you are outside of anxiety and OCD, while we work on overcoming your OCD symptoms. Together, we’ll work to quiet the noise of intrusive thoughts, self-doubt and worry so you can step into the most authentic version of yourself.

In my work with neurodivergent folks who struggle with OCD and anxiety:

I know how isolating it is to be an empathetic, deep feeler who gets overwhelmed by the complexities and injustices of the world. My neurodivergent clients often describe feeling like their brains are constantly “on,” but not always in ways that feel helpful. OCD and anxiety can also latch on to that energy, leaving them second-guessing themselves, feeling paralyzed by decisions, or stuck in maladaptive cycles.

In our work together, we’ll focus on ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) to quiet OCD and give you the skills to challenge and step out of those cycles. We will meet your own needs with compassion and create space for the life you want to live. You’ll learn to manage anxiety without silencing the parts of your brain that make you uniquely you.

In my work with queer clients navigating anxiety and OCD:

Neurodivergent folks, especially in the queer community, often face a double burden of managing anxiety and OCD, while living in a world that hasn’t always embraced their identities. My clients share fears about being accepted, feel pressure to mask or hide parts of themselves, and sometimes carry intrusive worries about safety, love, or belonging.

I strive to create a space that is affirming, nonjudgmental, and empowering. Together, we will untangle the weight of anxiety and OCD from the core of who you are, helping you thrive in your relationships, your community, and your own sense of self while OCD dissipates.

I believe therapy is a partnership where you feel safe enough to challenge yourself and supported through the relationship enough to grow. I want to help you cultivate a life that feels authentic to you.

My Professional Background

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with my master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University. I have completed extensive trainings in providing trauma- informed care to diverse populations including the Native American community, those involved in the child welfare system, neurodivergent adults and children and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Over the last 9 years, I’ve worked with both individual adults, children, families and groups, focusing on evidence-based approaches for OCD and anxiety Disorders including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) combined with creative and expressive interventions such as Sand Tray therapy. I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent and 2SLGBTQ+ clients and creating spaces that feel safe, affirming, and effective for real change.

Outside of work, I’m a proud member of the queer community, and have been an active volunteer and neighborhood board representative in the Melrose district, where I have been lucky to call home the last 10 years. I am a lover of animals (currently share a home with 3 rescue dogs and 2 cats), scary movies, sour candy, and thrift shopping. I am a firm believer in the healing power of laughter, tattoos, and a Karaoke night with friends.
